Next time you’re exploring the Big Creek Greenway, you might just encounter a gaggle of miniature gnomes, pixies and fairies. In summer 2020, Forsyth County resident Dan O’Hara created a whimsical fairy village, a growing collection of pint-size gurines, houses and other structures constructed from sticks, rocks, scraps and other materials. There’s even a “Gnome Depot” so passersby can build their own addition. The village is a 15-minute walk from Halcyon.
