Botica: A Gastronomic Playground of Flavors and Festivity

Step into the vibrant world of Botica, where award-winning flavors and an unparalleled atmosphere intertwine in an endless celebration.

From being hailed as the “Best Brunch in Buckhead” by the Buckhead Business Association to receiving the esteemed OpenTable Diners Award, Local Cheers Award, and, most recently, winning the coveted title of “Best Outdoor Dining” as voted by you, My Buckhead readers, Chef Mimmo and his renowned restaurant, Botica, have garnered quite the trophy case full of accolades over the years. But bevond the glitz and glamour, Chef Mimmo wants to convey that Botica’s true essence lies not in awards, but in the indescribable feeling it evokes.

“Botica is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience,” Chef Mimmo passionately asserts. The vibrant energy of Botica exudes from the friendly staff and every corner of the colorful restaurant. Steeped in the restaurant industry for years, Botica is Chef Mimmo’s passion project and a love letter to Atlanta’s diners. It incorporates the dishes and skills from his Lebanese and Mediterranean background, fused with the Mexican, Spanish and Southern concepts Atlantans know and love.

“We pour our hearts into each dish,”Chef Mimmo confides. “Take, for example, our Fried Chicken and Waffles. We marinate the locally sourced Springer Mountain chicken for 48 hours, ensuring it’s infused with flavor. It’s then delicately breaded and fried to order, and finally adorned with the finest Crown Maple syrup from New York. It’s the best you can get.”

Sourcing top-tier ingredients is something Chef Mimmo prides himself on across the board. From tomatoes to peaches, Botica’s produce is sourced from local farmers and all of the menu’s hand-cut meats are purchased from acclaimed supplier, Meats By Linz. Fresh seafood dishes rotate seasonally, packing a punch of flavor with each bite.

While Botica embraces the latest mixology trends and indulges diners with cherished Southern favorites, it remains steadfastly connected to its roots. Chef Mimmo’s eyes light up when he talks about Botica’s renowned Paella, a cherished Spanish dish served every Wednesday and Friday after 3pm. Occasionally prepared fresh on the patio by Chef Mimmo himself, it’s not just about the flavors; it’s about preserving the essence of Botica – authenticity, freshness and a touch of spectacle.

Ultimately, what sets Botica apart is its perpetual state of celebration. “You don’t need a special occasion to visit Botica; every visit is a celebration in itself,” Chef Mimmo declares. Whether you are swinging by to catch the latest sporting event on Botica’s 50+ TVs, or looking to immerse yourself in the enchantment of live music nights and festive holiday celebrations, Botica is an eternal source of mouth-watering merriment and revelry. And that’s a feeling we can all get behind.
