The Buckhead Village District hosted the American Red Cross for their first ever blood drive. Over the course of two days they collected 60 units of blood, with 37 of those units coming from first-time donors. Blood supplies have been heavily impacted by coronavirus and the inability to host regular blood drives. The American Red Cross urges
all eligible donors to donate and is actively searching for viable host sites.
