Why Crumbl Cookies Alpharetta Isn’t Your Typical Cookie Shop

The gourmet cookie shop in Alpharetta undergoes a change in ownership and is looking forward to a sweet future. If you find yourself following the sweet scent of fresh-baked cookies while in Alpharetta, you’re likely going to end up at Crumbl Cookies. The tasty pastry shop is now under the care of Lance Jeffreys and James Griffin, who also own Crumbl’s Forsyth location. “We’re looking to refocus on the quality of the brand and ensure that every cookie is the best we can offer,” Jeffreys says of the change.

What brings Jeffreys and Griffin to the cookie game? Jeffreys’ sweet tooth. “We were out in Phoenix for a business trip when James spotted a bakery and said, ‘Hey, want to get some cookies?’ I love chocolate everything, so I was in. We walked into this fresh, bright shop and I knew we had to bring it back home,” Jeffreys explains. Some paperwork, a new lease and a pandemic later, they opened their first Crumbl location in Cumming this past September.

There are a few key differences that set Crumbl apart from other cookie corporations:

They have a rotating menu of four flavors that change on a weekly basis, along with their two staple flavors—
chocolate chip and chilled sugar cookie.

• Everything is made from scratch, in-house. You won’t find chilled dough being pulled from freezers. “We get there at 5 a.m. to start baking,” says Jeffreys.

• The size of their cookies. (Seriously, you could use them as saucers.) If you’re looking to pair your cookies with some cream, you’ll also want to check out their selection of Crumbl Cream. Like the cookies, these ice cream flavors rotate and are meant to pair with the current cookie offerings. New flavors are available every three months.

What are the flavors of choice for these cookie-connoisseurs? Jeffreys likes the classics, oatmeal chocolate chip and chilled sugar cookie, while Griffin enjoys their stuffed flavors like strawberry poptart and lemon poppyseed.

Crumbl Cookies is open Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. (for you late-night snackers). All cookies made-to-order and you have the options of delivery, pick-up, or curbside pick-up with contactless payment available.
